Women in Technology (WIT), the premier organization contributing to the advancement and success of professional women in the Washington, D.C. metro area technology community, today announced its 2025-2026 Board of Directors.
WIT’s leadership team is committed to uplifting women throughout their technology careers, from the classroom all the way to the boardroom, offering valuable educational tools, support, and a strong community. Succeeding Immediate Past President Lisa Shea Mundt is Daphne Wotherspoon, U.S. Markets Director of Sales, Akkodis – Capitol Region, a global provider of digital transformation and technology solutions.
Wotherspoon has over 20 years of experience in technology consulting and an additional decade in talent acquisition, with expertise spanning workforce optimization, client engagement, talent management and operational excellence. A graduate of George Mason University, Wotherspoon holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, reflecting her dedication to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making. In addition to her time serving on the WIT Board in varying roles for more than six years, Wotherspoon was also President of WIT in 2020-2021.
