Themed “Shared Vision, Stronger Partnership,” Taiwan Expo 2025 will celebrate the growing collaboration between the two nations across innovation, cultural exchange, and global industry transformation. This year’s event comes amid growing momentum for the flourishing U.S.–Taiwan economic partnership. According to Taiwan's Office of Trade Negotiations, Executive Yuan, the U.S. and Taiwan recorded a total bilateral goods trade volume of US$158.6 billion in 2024, representing a 24.2% increase from 2023. Taiwan currently ranks as the U.S.’s 7th-largest trading partner. This surge, fueled by Taiwan’s leadership in semiconductors and AI, reflects a deepening synergy between the two economies. Taiwan Expo USA 2025 builds on this trajectory, offering a timely platform to strengthen industrial ties and expand cross-border collaboration.

Opening Ceremony: Culture Meets Innovation

Taiwan Expo USA 2025 will open with a vibrant ceremony, setting the tone for three days of innovation, cultural exchange, and bilateral cooperation. The program will feature a high-impact performance by the globally acclaimed Tendrum Art Percussion Group, whose fusion of traditional Taiwanese drumming with contemporary dance reflects the island’s seamless integration of heritage and forward-thinking creativity.

Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Chairman, Mr. James C. F. Huang, will deliver opening remarks alongside distinguished guests. Additionally, the program will include the inauguration of the Taiwan Trade and Investment Service Center in Dallas, reinforcing Taiwan’s commitment to deepening economic ties across the U.S. The opening ceremony will conclude with a VIP-guided tour and luncheon reception, launching the three-day Expo with energy and momentum.

Forum for the Future: Taiwan–U.S. Supply Chain Cooperation

Taking place on August 14, the Taiwan–U.S. Supply Chain Cooperation Forum will convene prominent industry leaders, policymakers, and academics to exchange insights, foster partnerships, and co-create a resilient innovative supply chain ecosystem that strengthens bilateral cooperation. As geopolitical dynamics reshape global commerce, Taiwan’s pivotal role in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing ecosystem continues to align with U.S. strategic goals.

Reflecting a core theme of this year’s programming, the Forum will spotlight discussions around U.S.–Taiwan leadership in shaping global supply chains, underscoring shared strategies in cross-border collaboration, smart manufacturing, and regional economic resilience. The program opens with “Intelligent Alliances,” setting the stage for two focused segments:

  • Driving the AI Era through Taiwan–U.S. EMS Innovation
  • Taiwan–U.S. Cooperation in Building the Next Industrial Era

These sessions will feature industry leaders from Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), Phison, GlobalWafers, and the US-Taiwan Business Council.

An Expert Dialogue will further explore actionable pathways for enhancing supply chain resilience, such as leveraging government incentives, fostering regionalization, and strengthening cross-border synergies. Speakers will also examine how AI and smart manufacturing are transforming supply chain dynamics.

With robust participation from tech investors and media, the Forum will serve as a pivotal platform for elevating Taiwan–U.S. economic partnerships.
